General Meeting: January 22, 2013 at 10 a.m.

General Meetings are a time to welcome visitors, hear guest speakers and discuss club business. All residents of Greater Winston-Salem are invited to join us. General Meetings are held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1416 Bolton Street (just off Silas Creek Parkway via the Bolton Street exit) at 10 a.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month, except August and December

Speaker:   Sergeant Charles Sayers, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office  

Sergeant Sayers will share tips and information to help us increase our personal safety.  He will cover helpful topics such as identity theft and scams aimed at seniors – all with a good sense of humor.  Sergeant Sayers has been with the Sheriff's Office for 30 years and feels fortunate that he has been assigned to every aspect of the Department. This has given him a broad background for his present position as the head of the Crime Prevention Unit which allows him to make presentations that keep the public informed on personal safety.

NIGHT CARDS – Wednesday, January 2.  Night cards will be held at 7 p.m.

BOOK CLUB – Monday, January 7.  The book group will meet at 10 a.m. to discuss Anna Quindlen’s book, Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake. 

BOARD MEETING – Tuesday, January 8. The Board will meet at 10 a.m.

CRAFTS GROUP – Wednesday, January 9.  The Crafts Group will meet at 1 p.m. to create greeting cards.

BRIDGE – Thursday, January 10.  Bridge group will meet at 12:30 p.m.

DINNER OUT GROUP – Saturday, January 12 at 7 p.m.

DAY CARDS – Thursday, January 17.  Day cards will be at 1 p.m.

GALLERY GROUP - Friday, January 18.  The Gallery Group will meet at 11 a.m.

LUNCH GROUP – Thursday, January 24.  Lunch Group will meet at 11:30 a.m.
