BOOK CLUB – Monday, June 4
The book group will meet at 10 a.m. to discuss David McCullough’s The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris.

CRAFTS – Wednesday, June 6
The Craft Group will meet at 1 p.m. for a presentation on “Recording Family Stories.”

NIGHT CARDS – Wednesday, June 6
Night cards will be held at 7 p.m.

BOARD MEETING – Tuesday, June 12
The next Board meeting will be held at 10 a.m

BRIDGE – Thursday, June 14
Bridge group will meet at 12:30 p.m.

LUNCH BUNCH – Thursday, June 21
Lunch Bunch will meet at 11:30 a.m.

DAY CARDS – Thursday, June 28
Day cards will be at 1 p.m.

Membership Information

Women who are new or established residents of Greater Winston Salem are welcome to attend two meetings or activities before deciding about joining the club. A good first visit is our monthly general meeting where the focus is welcoming
visitors. We also feature local speakers and discuss club business.

Our yearly dues are $35.

Bookmarks Festival of Books and Authors: Volunteered at the information & author's booths, speaker venues, and delivered posters

Hawley House: Provided dinner and played bingo with the residents—gift bags were presented as the prizes

Salvation Army: Gave donations for teenagers so they would have something at Christmas

2016-2017

Bookmarks Festival of Books and Authors: Volunteered at the information booth, children's book area, author's party, delivered posters, and took authors to schools

Hawley House: Provided dinner and played bingo with the residents—gift bags were presented as the prizes

Habitat for Humanity: Prepared lunch for visiting college students

Second Harvest Empty Bowls: Helped at the auction table, unloaded pottery bowls for the display and wrapped bowls for the guests

Betty and Jim Holmes Food Bank Garden: Picked ripe vegetables from the garden

Salvation Army: Gave donations for teenagers so they would have something at Christmas

2014-2016

Bookmarks Festival of Books and Authors: Volunteered at the information booth, children's book area, author's party, delivered posters, and took authors to schools

State Employees Credit Union Hospitality House: Provided dinner and entertainment

Salvation Army: Gave donations so teenagers would have something at Christmas and assisted with holiday packing at the warehouse

Senior Services/Williams Adult Day Center: Visited with clients

Habitat for Humanity: Provided a dinner for students visiting for the collegiate challenge

GreeNest: Sorted, organized, and placed home goods to be selected by clients
