The New Winston
Museum is the community museum for Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, with the
mission to preserve the history of the area. It was officially opened in
May 2012 with an exhibit called Every Picture Tells Our Story, a pictorial
representation of Winston-Salem history through photography. The Museum
is now presenting the Salon Series which aims to bring a wide-range of
community leaders from academics, artists and activists to lead discussions on
a variety of topics. The Museum is open

a Masters Degree in Museum Studies from UNC-Greensboro, and has lived in
Winston-Salem since 2007.
