Join the Craft Group for a tour of the ultimate in the craftsman's art: silver, crystal, china, collectibles, and glassware at the Replacements Ltd. showroom in Greensboro. This 415,000-sq-ft facility houses 13 million pieces as well as a warehouse containing 300,000 china patterns (yours is probably here!). Some pieces are over 100 years old. We will have an early lunch at Mimi's Cafe in the Friendly Center (Greensboro) then drive on to Replacements for a self-guided tour. Meet for carpooling at the Barnes & Noble parking lot on Hanes Mall Blvd. (near Stratford Rd intersection) at 10:00 am. Will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1416 Bolton Street, W-S (just off Silas Creek Parkway via the Bolton Street Exit) General Meetings are a time to welcome visitors, hear guest speakers, and discuss club business. All residences of Greater Winston-Salem are invited to attend. This month we will have a speaker from Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Susan Craddock Washabaug. She is the Director of Volunteer Services, and responsible for the Gift Shop and Guest Services as well. The meeting will also include an update on activities and board decisions, as well as our 50-50 raffle, coffee and conversation.
