Book to be discussed is Day After Night by Anita Diamant. Please bring your suggestions for future Book Club selections to the meeting.

10th: BRIDGE @ 12:30 pm
Will be held at Linda M's home in W-S. Please RSVP: 631-9870

12th: BBQ and BUNCO @ 6:30 pm
Will be held at the VFW Hall on Hampton Rd. in Clemmons. This is our Summer Social, open to all members, guests, and any new residents of W-S who wish to see what we're about. Please RSVP to Barbara W @ 659-1862. Cost will be just $5.00 per person, includes chopped pork BBQ, Rolls and Bunco. Please bring your own adult beverage and a side dish /dessert to share.

14th: POT LUCK LUNCHEON @ 12:00pm / JOINT BOARD MEETING @1:00pm
This special meeting to discuss club business, thank the old officers, and bring the new up to date. Will be held at Linda P's house in Clemmons. Please RSVP: 201-2026. When you RSVP, please let Linda know what side dish you will be bringing to the luncheon. 1:00 PM Joint Board Meeting

22nd: GENERAL MEETING @10:00am
This month we welcome a special speaker, Joe Mills, author of several books of poetry along with "
A Guide to North Carolina’s Wineries." He will
share his insights into the history of winegrowing in our region, the techniques
used to produce a good vintage, and the variety of wines and activities available at
the vineyards. The Yadkin Valley
has more than 20 wineries and over 400 acres of
vineyards.
Mills holds a PhD from the University of California-Davis and teaches at the
University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem.

Our general meetings are held at Trinity Presbyterian Church (1416 Bolton Street in W-S) just off Silas Creek Parkway via the Bolton Street Exit. The meeting will include an update on activities and board decisions, as well as our 50-50 raffle, coffee and conversation. Join us for an enjoyable and informative morning . . . and bring another newcomer! All resident of W-S are welcome to attend!Visitors may attend two meetings or activities before making a decision to join the club.
